Reading Well – Reading to Support Wellbeing
Reading Well
Reading Well is an exciting and well researched reading project that was introduced across all North Somerset libraries on Feb 8th 2020.
Every library has a series of books written for children to specifically help children and families deal with worries, help you feel better and boost your mood. The books have been chosen by children, carers, health experts and librarians.
Books can be read by children on their own, or be shared and talked about with siblings, parents, carers, teachers, doctors or another trusted adult.

The books are listed under sections such as Dealing with tough times, When you have a condition, Healthy minds, Worries, Feelings and The world around you.
Leaflets with more information can be found in the school entrance.
