Last week we held an Arts Week which involved children across the school engaging in art, drama, music and dance sessions. The week had many highlights as children engaged with visitors and worked in the local area.

The pupil outcomes can be seen on our Facebook page and will be put on display around the school.

Year 5 and 6 got creative on Friday designing and painting a ‘reimagined’ chest of drawers which now has pride of place at the front of the school. A massive thank you to Tristan Merriam, a local artisan furniture restorer and artist, for working with the children on this project linking art with recycling.

It was a wonderful week that was really enjoyed by pupils and staff.
