NSPCC Online Safety Workshop for Parents

Thank you to the parents who attended the workshop on the 29th of November. The school has had really good feeback from the mums and dads that did attend.

We have left some information booklets from the NSPCC in the main entrance to the school for those who would lilke more information.

As school e-safety is embedded in our teaching and learning with the children, we strongly encourage all parents to visit the NSPCC website, Kidscape and search for online safety tips.

The internet and increasing use of mobile technologies offers some great opportunities for our children. The flipside is that it also presents some clear safeguarding dangers as well.

Please be mindful of how your children are using the internet and mobile apps and the control measures you can put in place to safeguard them on line. This starts with an open conversation so that they are aware of the risks and feel confident in sharing any concerns with you.

If you do become aware of any risk please speak to the school and we can offer support as appropriate.
