Meet the Governors

Members of the Local Governing Body are drawn from parents, school staff, and the community. They oversee the management and leadership of the school.  Vacancies for parent governors are well publicised in advance, and details of when the next vacancy is due are obtainable from the Clerk to Governors:

Governors are appointed for a four year term.  There are two main committees; The School Improvement Committee is responsible for child welfare and curriculum learning, The Resources Committee is responsible for physical and human resources.  There is also a Health & Safety Sub-Committee.

The main Local Governing Body meets six times a year; the Resources Committee meets five times a year; and the School Improvement Committee meets four times a year.
